Flashing roborio

Renaming the RoboRIO

Plug the roboRIO into a robot for power
Connect the roboRIO to your laptop via USB
Open the roboRIO imaging tool
If not detecting anything click rescan
Under system information check current image
Record the name of the image
Click format target underneath the "Team Number" box
Select the image you recorded earlier under "Select Image"
Click SD to open the file exporer at the location of that image and record the path there
Disconnect the roboRIO from the robot and the laptop
Take the SD card out of the roboRIO and put it into a device such as a microSD to USB dongle
Plug the device into your laptop
If you've not yet done so, download and install balenaEtcher
Launch balenaEtcher
Select "Flash from file" and then select the correct image by following the path recorded earlier
Select "Select target" and select the destination device where the SD card is currently
Press "Flash"
Remove the SD card from the device and put it back into the roboRIO
